  4. There is no doubt that the IT revolution has enhanced quality of life, from improving health care, to making it easier for children to get better information and learn more, to giving consumers more convenience in their interactions with business and government and making it easier to measure environmental quality. But while these and other benefits are important, perhaps the most important benefit of the IT revolution is its impact on economic growth.

  6. One should not forget the negative aspects and possibilities of communications-based transformations, such as mobile phones being used to fan violence, cyber crime and terrorism, and our vulnerability to disruption of communication. Just want to share the info hehe ^-^

  8. The benefits of IT should not be denied, & there are a lot of them to partially conclude it.

However, the development of IT should also goes hand-in-hand with the development of human value. We keep on seeing many violated such value in the name of freedom & technology.

Quoted from an international 'daqwah' song: "It's easy to blame everything on the West, when in fact all focus should be on ourselves."

So rather than blaming the exposure & negativity of such development, we may need to consider doing our part in building a balance, well developed society.

Man, i always sounded so serious when in writing LOL!

  11. "Technology is an inherent democratizer. Because of the evolution of hardware and software, you’re able to scale up almost anything. It means that in our lifetime everyone may have tools of equal power."- Sergey Brin,co-founder of Google.

  12. IT gives a new dimension to our life. As it is now, it has become part and parcel of our life. We need it. And thus, we need to be knowledgeable about it. It has so much potentials. But then, like other things, it is double edged. One can use it for many good things. It can also be abused and misused...!

  14. IT evolves tremendously fast, as we speak. The QUESTION is, and always be ARE WE READY FOR IT?..Back then we used to say "...Just stick to the conventional way.." but nowadays we say, "Computer without network/internet is USELESS". Seemingly, IT makes life easier, faster..younger..ha ha!!

Life Without Computers?..Yeah..maybe..provided that we have X-BoX 360 Console & Games (Or PlayStation at least..haah..)

    BUT Life Without Telephone/Mobile Phone/Telecommunication Gadgets?..i don't think SOOooo...

KNOW IT so u can enjoy IT; LOVE IT So U Can Control IT.

  17. IT alert us with breaking news around the world. i believe youngsters now love to stay in front of pc rather than reading books. more or less it is 'books', they can google search information needed.the only problem is attraction from many website which can disrupt learning process through online. Therefore, parental guidance needed.
